What is Pathly?

Who is it for?

Students and working professionals — primarily Computer Science / software careers in India and globally. Also useful for Law, Civil, Mechanical, Business, Finance, Marketing, and other domains via your domain setting.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. Free includes limited resume scores, mocks, skill snapshots, and a few Ask Agent messages each month. Pro includes a 7-day trial.

What does Ask Agent do?

A floating career coach for logged-in users. Free tier is limited and shorter. Paid plans unlock deeper answers and higher limits. It will not act as a coding or exam-cheating bot.

How does the Telegram bot work?

Paid or trial users open Settings → Connect Telegram, then chat with the bot using /ask, /resume, /company, /interview, /path, /negotiate, and more.

Passwords are hashed. Session cookies are HTTP-only. Secrets never ship to the browser. Optional Google sign-in verifies tokens server-side. We recommend Upstash Redis for multi-user production storage.

Can non-CS students use it?

Yes. Tools adapt with domain context (law, civil, etc.). CS remains the deepest focus because that is where Pathly started and where most early users are.

Why should I pay?

One successful switch or campus convert typically pays for years of Pathly. Paid unlocks volume, negotiation, full Ask Agent, and Telegram — when you are actively hunting.

Which AI powers Pathly?

Google Gemini via your configured API key. Free Google AI Studio credits work for early stage; scale keys as usage grows.

How do I get support?

Use Ask Agent in-app for career questions. Product issues: open a GitHub issue on the private repo or email the founder once public support is live.
